Kerry's Story

"I moved here from Bloomington and caught a case. I spent three months in Marion County. I didn’t have Medicaid, so they released me to the streets.

Turning Point called me, and I went to Turning Point. While I was there, both of my felony cases were thrown out without prejudice. Miss LanDonia at Turning Point thought this would be a perfect fit for me — and it has been an awesome fit.

I’ve never been in programming like this. This has been a real blessing to me. Everybody here is like family. This program is an awesome program.

It’s what you make of it. It's like anything in life - anything worth having is worth working for. This program is a step up. They don’t hold your hand; they help you as best as they can.

This has been awesome for me.
