"I am Misti McKivitz. I came to Brookside through Traders Point Christian Church. My husband and I went to our first serve experience and had the opportunity to hear about Brookside and where their heart was. The testimonies that were shared were absolutely powerful.

I decided to come and volunteer on Monday nights through the Reentry program, and that was absolutely the greatest gift.

Brookside truly comes beside the broken. They serve with you. They meet you right where you’re at. You don’t have to clean up.

It is transformative to be able to come and give back to women and be the person that I never had.

I hope and pray that more women can take a Monday night off. There are so many women here just waiting for you. Tell someone your story. Share the gospel. Share the love of Jesus with them.
